The Maine Film Association, in partnership with the Maine Film Office, is conducting a study to assess the current and potential impacts of the state’s film and media production industry on Maine’s economy. We invite you to participate by completing a short survey to help us understand the current Maine-based film- and media-making workforce and identify opportunities to support and grow the industry.

We encourage all participants in the film- and media-making community who reside in Maine to participate in the survey – it takes just 10 minutes! We hope to hear from Maine residents who are:

  • Owners/operators and employees of production companies and production related-businesses

  • Freelance or contracted production professionals

  • Production professionals employed by out-of-state companies.

  • Media and film students seeking to build careers in this industry
