The Adobe Premiere Bootcamp will be a thorough introduction to Adobe’s professional digital video editing software, Adobe Premiere, led by Adobe Certified Expert, Neil Shelley. This workshop will teach participants the fundamental workflow from capture to export, to effectively and efficiently produce high quality digital videos utilizing Adobe Premiere.
Throughout the workshop, participants will learn the language and the various proper techniques of capturing, editing, exporting and archiving footage. In addition to students gaining an in-depth understanding of the Adobe Premiere Pro ecosystem, emphasis will also be placed on the art and craft of editing to better tell a story.
All students will be provided a workstation to get hands-on experience using the software throughout the boot camp.
Instructor: Neil Shelley, Adobe Certified Expert
A Maine native, Neil Shelley has worked as a digital imaging technician, drone operator, editor and assistant camera for a variety of projects including feature-length films, documentaries, and commercials. As Maine’s only Adobe Certified Expert, Neil currently teaches at the University of Maine and Maine Media Workshops.
