Mark J. Parker
Mark J. Parker is an independent filmmaker, acting & filmmaking coach/teacher, casting director, digital content creator, podcast host, and SAG-AFTRA actor. Mark has worked on many films and TV shows in various capacities throughout the years, acting in broadcast series "Ugly Betty" and "30 Rock," working behind the scenes on talk shows like "Live! With Regis & Kelly" and "The Wendy Williams Show," and casting and coordinating cable shows like "Celebrity Ghost Stories." He teaches acting classes online and in-person for kids, teens, and adults, with topics ranging from on-camera improv to scripted scene study to commercials and hosting.
Mark has cast hundreds of union and non-union actors, plus a few celebrity guests, on 7 seasons of the popular ABC hidden camera series "What Would You Do?" at ABC's Lincoln Square Productions in NYC, where he also worked as a digital & social media content producer, and handled talent paperwork and residuals. Additionally, he's cast improv-based/soft-scripted TV specials, limited series, and reality series for broadcast, cable, and streaming networks since 2010, along with scripted independent films and video projects.
After 40 North American film festival acceptances, his short film "Sticks" is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, and his next short "Family History" will be finished and screening in late 2020. He co-hosts and produces the entertainment podcast "Add This To Your List," and also occasionally performs on stage, with recent theatre credits including: The Laramie Project (Clocktower Players, Irvington, NY), You Can’t Take It With You (St. Jean’s Players, NYC), Night of the Living Dead Live! (interACT Theatre Productions, NJ), and Dog Sees God (AlphaNYC Theater Co., NYC).
Mark graduated from Fordham University and received a certificate in Producing from NYU’s School of Professional Studies.

Mark shoots and edits short videos/commercials as a "one man band" for small local businesses to post on their websites and social media accounts. He also hosts and creates trivia for local businesses and for private events.
