Louise Rosen serves as an editorial and business consultant, international distributor, producer, and sales agent. Ms. Rosen’s projects include Oscar, Emmy, FIPRESCI, Teddy, and Sundance award-winning films. Louise began her career in film and television at WGBH-TV as Director of International Sales and Co-productions. She later launched her own distribution company and sales agency.

She has raised financing for and distributed landmark projects such as Eyes on the Prize: Series I & II, The Great Depression, and Style Wars, as well as the Oscar winner Anne Frank Remembered, and the Oscar nominee Troublesome Creek: A Midwestern.

Louise is a credited producer on films and series such as the IMAX feature and NOVA documentary The Endurance: Shackleton’s Legendary Antarctic Expedition, and the feature documentaries Killing for Love, Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, Prodigal Sons, Holy Water-Gate and 1001 Nights Apart. Her consulting producer credits include The Disrupted, The Rise of the Synths, and Eva Hesse.

Prior to her career in film and television, Louise worked in the music business for Grateful Dead Records and ran her own management/booking agency. In radio, she worked for Westinghouse Broadcasting and WBCN, Boston’s revolutionary rock radio station.

Louise tutors at Germany’s Documentary Campus Master School and has been a speaker and moderator at conferences and film festivals including Sheffield DocFest, DOC NYC, & HotDocs. Louise currently serves as the Interim Managing Director for the International Documentary Association (IDA).
