2022 MFA Winter Film Challenge: The Summer Chill Edition
on Friday, July 15! Thanks to the generosity of the Maine Outdoor Film Festival and Urban Farm Fermentory, everyone can join us for this outdoor screening of the complete 2022 Challenge program. Come early to enjoy libations and (re)connect with community members!

ADMISSION: By donation – $5 suggested donation // MFA Members are welcome to attend for free!
FOOD/BEVERAGE: BYO snacks/dinner. No outside beverages except water, please. Urban Farm Fermentory will be selling their delicious cider, kombucha, mead, jun, and beer.
PARKING: Plenty of parking on the street, and there is a parking lot immediately after the amphitheater on the left.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Please note that this event will follow the letter and the spirit of prevailing safety guidelines, including crowd limits, physical distancing, and face mask recommendations.

– THE PROGRAM –
In February 2022, teams of filmmakers from across Maine braved the winter chill to write, shoot, and edit original short films in only 72 hours. Assigned a requisite prop (playing cards), line of dialogue (“It’s not what it looks like”), and genre, the teams tackled this creative challenge to produce 20 unique visual stories.
