Join MFA filmmakers, students, and film industry professionals for the Oct 14th Introduction to Digital Production Workshop at Bowdoin College. This immersive workshop introduces the procedures and systems for successful motion picture preproduction, and goes on to highlight the basic camera and lighting tools for digital production.
Throughout the workshop, students will actively learn the language of cinema. They will explore techniques of camera and lighting for digital production through demonstations and hands-on exercises.
The digital production workshop features digital camera systems from Panasonic and Blackmagic Design, along with LED lighting systems courtesy of Litepanels and VITEC, with additional support from High Output in Portland.
Instructors:
Matt Siegel, PGA/AICP producer and ICG director of photography. Former arts professor, New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
Neil Shelley, ADOBE Premiere Certified Expert. Adjunct lecturer, University of Maine, Orono.
